Melissa Uhlman
Vice President
Melissa brings a strong background in customer service and accounting acquired during her tenure with Peoria Travel. She prides herself in her ability to listen well and quickly address customer inquiries. She also worked part time for the Unity Point Health System as a Chaplain, providing spiritual and emotional care to patients and families. Currently, Melissa is pursuing her degree in Organizational Management. Her hobbies include gardening and crafting.
Amanda Flores
Manager of Transportation and Vocational Rehabilitation
Amanda hails from the great state of Alabama. She brings with her a plethora of experience. Starting her career in the transportation industry, she hones in on her HR skills, abilities to communicate clearly, and conflict resolution skills. She has also served in multiple aspects of ministry including Crisis Ministry, Recovery Ministry, and is currently co-lead pastor of a church in Oklahoma alongside her husband. Being a wife of a veteran, she has traveled extensively and learned to understand the differences in cultures. With the experience and knowledge Amanda possesses, she excels as the Manager of Transportation, Compliance, and Vocational Rehabilitation. Amanda has been married for 23 years, she is a mom to six, and a Mimi to five. Her love and passions are coffee, her grandbabies, and Alabama football. Roll Tide!
Angie Jontz
Scheduling Coordinator
Angie joined the Resolute team in 2022 and brings with her an amazing energy and work ethic. Angie has a strong background in problem solving and conflict resolution. In her past she has done legal collections and customer service. Her soft skills are excellent, she is able to find a compromise so both sides are happy. Angie is a mom to 3 children, and a Gigi to 5 grandkids. She loves traveling, shopping, country music, and Tennessee Volunteers football.
Rusty Pethoud
Lead Driver
Rusty hails from the great state of Arizona. He is our gentle giant at a height of 6’7″. Being a retired police lieutenant, combined with once owning a transportation company, Rusty brings his experience and knowledge to VLP. He has just recently moved to the Houston area, leaving 5 grandchildren and soon to be one great grandson in Arizona. He is on the cusp of being a Taurus. While he is driving the highways and byways of Houston he loves listening to his classic rock. When he is out of the van he enjoys his computers, boardgames and college basketball.
Mauri Autrey
Project Coordinator
Mauri comes to VLP with a high level of experience in customer service and a natural ability for detail and organization. Her former occupations helped her nurture these skills and bring them to the table to be put to full use at VLP. Working as a patient registrar in the Emergency Department at a local hospital, she thrives under pressure while maintaining high quality standards. Rolling her experience and knowledge together, Mauri is an excellent project coordinator, helping our workman’s compensation clients receive the highest care possible.
Mauri is the proud mother of three children and has the honor of being a military mom. When she isn’t at her desk, she enjoys time with her children riding horses, hiking, and being out on the water. Using her barbering skills of 25 years, she also still helps her family and friends look beautiful.

Of course! We are happy to accommodate any requests based on driver availability.
VLP invoices all rides based on the roundtrip mileage from pickup point to the facility and home, with an additional flat rate fee for additional wait times.
Yes, under most circumstances this will be allowable, but will require approval prior to the ride.
We cannot guarantee requests received with less than 48 business hours notice, but our dedicated scheduling team will work diligently to fill even those last minute requests.
VLP is happy to provide full quotes for services upon request that include all billing minimums.
